I can’t speak to the quality of the lawyers at this firm—they may be excellent. However, what I can speak to is their lack of customer service. Stuart was recommended to me by the law firm my defense attorney works with. I called this office and scheduled a consultation a week later. When the scheduled time arrived, I never received a call. Thirty minutes later, I called the office to speak with the lawyer. I was informed that, because they had left me a voicemail the day before detailing the retention fee, the consultation was no longer necessary (something they never informed me about). I was also told the lawyer was unavailable, and if I had any follow-up questions, I should email him. In my opinion, if I can’t contact the lawyer now, while I’m in the process of potentially hiring him, that sets the tone for what I can expect if I do hire him. There is more to hiring a lawyer than simply knowing the price. I need to talk to him first—get a feel for how he communicates and whether he can answer all my legal questions. This will help me determine if he’s the right fit. I’m not sure if the expectation was for me to send the retention fee to a lawyer I’ve never interacted with, with none of my legal questions answered, and just hope for the best. I expect to be contacted promptly when an appointment is set a week in advance. If I’m taking time out of my day for the firm, I expect that time to be respected. I also expect to be able to speak with the lawyer before hiring him. Not being able to meet these two basic expectations is interesting.

Stuart Taylor helped me gain access to unclaimed, inheritance money because I didn’t receive notice that it even existed. I live in Washington, and the court we needed to petition is in Nevada. Add in family greed / drama and you can see where I was not well-positioned to take this on. Stuart is great. He’s personable and kind. He’s also knowledgeable about estate matters specific to Las Vegas. I was able to claim my inheritance. Stuart also helped me craft a demand letter to my brother requesting payment of the legal fees I incurred over my rightful inheritance.
