I do not recommend this law office. I called to get my citizenship done, which is in my case pretty standard, married to an American citizen, have my green card many years so only had to fill in a couple of forms. On my first call I was told to make an appointment on the phone and it was going to cost $100. I thought ok, I will get to speak to a lawyer so that’s fine. Payed the $100 and got a phone call from an assistant that took my basic info and got told they would call me back in a few days. They did and again I got an assistant on the phone and she told me that the lawyer could do my case for $4000….im sorry but $4000 to fill in some forms?? I called another lawyer and they told me to swing by when ever I had time. He told me about the process, answered all questions I had and told me at the end of conversation that all together he is going to charge me $1760! I completely understand that we all need money for our services but I got a really bad taste when I heard someone else could fill in the same paperwork for 2200 less. I’m sorry Rivas and associates but you are not getting my hard earned money so y’all can drive your fancy cars. People be aware and shop around!!!!!!
