My cousin came in to the country through PAROLE. When she had her firsts appointment the lawyer told her she couldn’t apply to ASYLUM. Her second time they told her she could had apply to asylum but it was past the year already. It seems they didn’t have any knowledge of the laws. I’m interested to hear back what they have to say.

I waited two months for an appointment with this “professional and very good” law firm, so it could get canceled because on Monday, Jan. 6th we had snow, but my appointment was on Tuesday at 10:30am. They closed the law firm when the government closed. The attorney Sobral called me saying they would call me on Tuesday afternoon because she was going to the office, after receiving the invoice I put my phone on volume but I never received a call back. So, I called on Wednesday morning to reschedule my appointment, and they told me that nobody (another client) has “canceled” so I have to wait until February lol. I know the weather was really bad, but the snow was already shoved. 85% of the roads were clean, and the other 15% were the neighborhoods that do not pay for the snow removal or they just think the snow is cute so they don’t want to remove it. They did not offer me a Zoom call, which is very absurd because given the circumstances it would have been very helpful to do the appointment in Zoom, instead of getting the appointment canceled. I am not even mad I believe everything happens for a reason, but it is very unprofessional and rude that they would not accommodate your rescheduled appointment. Basically, they are are saying my future needs to wait for them an additional month!! Because nobody canceled an appointment and the weather was bad. If you have an appointment we this law firm, make sure to have Plan B and lots of hope.

Not the best place to look for help I am pretty sure there are better lawyers and recepetionist outthere I had the feeling I was at the shark tank there!! Whoever have a good case to fight and win!! Also it depends with who you have the appointment!!
