I am very disappointed with how they handled my case. In June 2022, I had a water leak from a a faulty plumbing issue, cause damage in my home which resulted in some mold. My entire bathroom needed to be demolished, the wall between my bathroom and kitchen replaced as well as the kitchen floor. The entire subfloor needed to be replaced. I was walking on planks to get from one part of the house to the other, my kitchen and bathroom were unusable. I had to temporarily rehome my cat since there were holes in my floor to where the ground was visible. My insurance company was not moving fast enough, even though I called them weekly for an update. I had to take out a loan to get my home repaired. I contacted the Morgan Law Group because one of their specialities was home insurance mitigation as well as most reviews were very good. This one will not be. I sent MLG all of my documentation from EVERY company that did work on my home. I also sent estimates for the future work. I emailed these documents AND sent the entire packet via USPS, certified mail requiring a signature. After a couple weeks, I called to see if they received everything. At that time, they indicated they did and they sent me retainer agreement. Six weeks after signing the agreement, I heard nothing. So, I called for an update. “We will get back to you…” Once I finally spoke to someone, they advised me their office was going through some changes and my file got shoved aside. By this time, the work had been completed, I had been paying on my loan (including interest) and my cat returned home. Once MLG started working on the case, it moved pretty quickly. However, for some reason, the insurance company sent the settlement check to me instead of MLG. I had to sign the check over to MLG, which I what I did. I received a call from one of the contractors and I advised them that MLG had taken over the case. I assumed they would then pay all of the contractors involved. They did not. MLG sent me my portion of the check less their own fees. I used the money to pay off the loan, which was barely enough to cover it. About 6 months later, I received a call from one of the contractors (same contractor that I directed to MLG) who advised me they had not been paid. Once again, I directed them to MLG. I also contacted MLG to find out what happened, to which they did not have an answer. However, they reopened the case and sent a letter with intent to sue to my insurance. After about 6 more months of going around with the insurance company, they did not follow through with the suit, but heeded the insurance company’s ORIGINAL decision that the mold mitigation was not covered. THEN, they emailed me a bill with the amount owed to the mold mitigation contractor as well as an ADDITIONAL $200 for MLG’s services which should have been handled during the ORIGINAL settlement. I contested this invoice in a response email agreeing to pay the mold mitigation contractor, but not their additional fee for dropping the ball. I expressed my displeasure in the email. I never got a response and the mold mitigation contractor was not paid. I reached out to the contractor and paid them myself. In the end, the settlement I received after MLG took their cut did not cover all of the expenses. I would have been better off just waiting 6 months for the insurance payout and paying on the loan during that time.

After a 3 year legal battle, I found Morgan law and to include James Lepore to be Dishonest, Non-trustworthy and Sleazy! Morgan law drug my case on for over 3 years. Lepore falsified my financials, made costly errors on depositions and so on... I fired them due to Morgan laws incompetence.
