I was looking for an attorney and was referred to this law firm by one of their partners, who knew them and had emphasized that if I call here, they should definitely be able to assist me with my dispute. So I called but wish never did. The lady who takes calls asked me to explain what happened and I did. She would have constantly interrupting me while talking and then when I did that accidentally she would get so upset. But, I thought maybe that is part of her job to work quickly so I didn’t mind. The part which really disturbs me was when she got judgmental and acts as she knew my situation and there’s nothing that can be done. When I tried to explain again, she would have rudely interrupt and discourage me to even want to pursue anything. Then, she made a comment “ Welcome to America “ ,like she made up the laws in this country and knows everything so perfectly. I could feel over the phone, how she was talking down to me and made me feel bad about moving to America for a better life. Just (FYI) I’m here and work just as hard as everybody else , maybe more and don’t take anything for granted and never expected a hand out or feel entitled. At the end, she goes “ I’m done and that is it”. To me, it was a “ shut up “ statement. She was such a hypocrite, when she did something I didn’t have a right to be mad, but when I said something even I didn’t mean to she would get so worked up and mean. I could feel the negative vibe over the phone and how mean she was towards me. In conclusion, I was just in need of some legal assistance and was turned away for no apparent reason. Not necessary to treat people that way and I am in doubt about the legitimacy of all these good feedbacks left by others here. Please don't waste the precious time and energy here and go look for a lawyer elsewhere. I am sure there are plenty of good lawyers out there that worth spending time and effort. Don’t recommend this law firm at all. Specially to the foreigners.
