I was referred to Mr. Gober twice by former clients. Going into the meeting, I was there to just talk about some options and what was actually realistic for my case. I had a family member go with me, and every time that family member would try and speak over me, Mr. Gober would stop them and ask them to please let me speak. As silly as that sounds… out of the four lawyers, I have dealt with in the past three years, he was the first (not even lawyer but) person that wanted to hear from me. When you have your family and they are just as deeply invested in your child as you are, it’s hard to have a voice in a group of so many people. My previous lawyers never respected the fact that I was their client, they listened to family members, and because of that, they were told that they should not do too much because it was likely we’d get back together. Because of this, and many other mistakes- that were outright negligence-from my lawyers, my talk with Mr. Gordon was the most refreshing empowering and honest conversation I’ve had with any lawyer ever. I feel like this man saw me. He saw me for who I was and not my circumstances. More than anything I appreciate his bluntness. As much as I was hoping I had a chance to change things through court, I knew going into the appointment that it was going to be a longshot. He helped me understand a little bit better on how the legal system works. Mr. Gober is someone who, in my opinion, Is damn good at what he does. Best of all he knows it. If I had just known about him, the first time we went to court, I know for a fact, the outcome would have been different. If I ever need a lawyer for anything in the future, Gober will be my first call. If you are looking into using him for your case or advice.. and you’re on the fence, or having trouble choosing a lawyer out of the hundreds out there.. I’m gonna tell you this, this man will fight for your truth. All I ever wanted in my lawyer was some grit. Lawyers nowadays are so passive because everything is so political. He radiates passion for what he does, and in turn, makes him a very cunning and proactive lawyer. He is the real deal and I am so glad I got to meet him. His business card will stay in my wallet at all times.
