I LOUDLY echo every single comment that edifies Hasina Lewis, Lewis Law Firm and her capabilities, knowledge, confidence, ambition, zeal, and overall advocacy. I am not speaking from any other perspective than from the one who she represented in an appeal of a 1st offense DUI & REFUSAL conviction (2 year license suspension). First and foremost, giving honor to God, but directly second is HASINA LEWIS and thirdly, the integritous jury who rendered a NOT GUILTY verdict on not ONE but TWO charges, today based upon the case presented by Ms. Lewis. Now while I would like to fill you guys in on the details, I would RATHER advise you to look NO FURTHER for proper representation! Hasina came highly recommended to me by another attorney in the area who believed that she could BETTER produce the results I wanted or at least put up a good fight, considering the circumstances of my case. I had searched high and low for someone who would at LEAST, LISTEN to what happened and be willing to conduct their due diligence, and after explaining my case to several attorneys in the area, she was the ONLY one who didn’t prey on me and see this as a money move without a care in the world as to how this would affect me, never having been in any trouble, and simply took the case like the first guy and said “it’s not really much that I’ll be able to do.” She knew what it meant for me to maintain my clear record and vindicate myself. Hasina was communicative, punctual, reliable, 100% professional and spared me false realities of my desired outcome to have the case completely thrown out, ESPECIALLY if we decided to take this to trial. She gave me options and discussed with me every step of the way what would happen next, what I could expect from that point on, and even cared enough in between to ask me, several times “how are you doing?” and “are you okay?” mid trial. Hasina challenged every angle, every stereotypical observation made by the prosecutor, and even quickly addressed the overlooked areas that my previous representation was too lazy to notice. The Commonwealth did their best, but Ms. Lewis was BETTER. Hasina was personable and she had a very bright personality, but above all, she is ABOUT HER BUSINESS with 10 years of experience, and 94% case wins ! Hasina maintained her professionalism and integrity throughout the entire case. As an African American woman in a White male dominated industry and STATE, Hasina did not disappoint with her skillset, and ability to go above and beyond my expectations, and did so with poise. She is VERY well versed and has the just right amount of boldness to be HEARD and respected, while simultaneously enforcing the laws that protect her clients. The courts know her well and a judge even highly recommended her to a person who did not have counsel, while I waited my turn for a motion to be heard, stating that she was an impeccable attorney, who “knows her stuff.” Hasina does not give false hope or guarantees but she DOES assure you that whatever she can do, that is, of course within her legal/ethical capacity, she WILL. I hope I never have to see her again on this side but she was a pleasure to be represented by and I have NO COMPLAINTS. I would say to trust her, let her do what God has called her to do, whether you are Black, White, Brown, or Purple, Hasina Lewis is for the people and I could not and would not recommend anyone else!
