To begin, please believe what you are reading in the reviews. I made the mistake of not following my initial intuition. If possible to give zero stars, I would. I would not recommend Lawrence Law Office to anyone in need of a competent and responsive divorce attorney. My experience was deeply frustrating due to an extreme lack of communication, inconsistent billing practices, and an overall failure to provide proactive legal representation. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, my calls were rarely returned. Meetings never took place in person, and the only service provided was reacting to the opposing party’s filings—never creating or submitting anything on my behalf. Additionally, the firm relied on improper templates rather than crafting case-specific documents. Billing practices were also highly questionable. I was charged $450 per hour, with a minimum 15-minute charge just for reading an email. Given the lack of original work done on my case, these charges felt excessive and unjustified. If you are looking for an attorney who will actively advocate for you, communicate clearly, and provide value for their fees, I strongly suggest seeking representation elsewhere.

I would do 0 stars if I could. They have no business practicing law in licking county. Charged me for their time correcting THEIR errors. Attention to detail is poor. Communication is poor. They must get a kick out of watching single moms struggle with the divorce process. Don’t recommend at all. Update: the response from the business is generated and they do not care about how poorly they treat their clients. I was charged 200 for two phone calls where I complained about their lack of professionalism and how unorganized they are. BEWARE. Don’t try to make things right just walk away or they will charge you further!!!!

Lawrence Law Office handled my case very professionally. They were so kind, understanding and helpful though the whole process. They took the time to explain everything I had questions about and made sure I understood all my options. Prompt communication and knowledgeable staff made the process so much easier. ZERO STARS!! I would not recommend this law firm to anyone! They failed to meet even the most basic expectations of legal representation, let alone deliver on the promises made when I first hired them. Not only did they not advocate for me or my concerns, they showed up unprepared and unfocused at hearings, neglecting crucial details, requiring me to remind them mid-hearing. Despite my repeated requests, they failed to advocate for my case and often suggested siding with opposing counsel instead of fighting for my rights. They continuously upcharged me for services that were not rendered, and when I inquired about these charges, they provided vague and evasive answers. There was no honesty, accountability or transparency. They unwillfully charged my card for a new retainer without my consent after I had already informed them of intent to seek different counsel. This unauthorized charge was an absolute violation of trust, and instead of taking accountability, they fought against their wrongdoing, dragging out the process and avoiding a resolution. I asked multiple times for a final invoice so I could settle my account, and they continuously refused to provide one. They made it impossible to terminate the relationship in a timely or professional manner. This firm is unprofessional, dishonest, and lacks empathy. They are only interested in your money, not your case. Beware!
