I would bet the good reviews here are posted by his own staff. I'm convinced Ron Marquez is one of the most corrupt attorneys in all of corrupt Butte County. He will charge you for colluding with your opponent. He will charge you for making phone calls to your opponent and filing documents without your consent. He will refuse to tell you when your hearings are, then misrepresent your requests in court. He will sub-out and leave you high and dry right before your most important hearing. Consider yourself warned. After being represented by him for about a year, not only have I lost all Physical Custody and access to my child (based on absolutely NOTHING), I now have to retain a Malpractice Attorney to be refunded thousands in over-charges and losses, because he willingly refused to live up to legal obligations. Unfortunately no ruling will compensate for the pain and suffering my entire family went through as a result of his failures and corruption. Save yourself the time, money and heartache..keep looking for a real attorney. If your goal is to lose your children and be drained of all your resources, then definitely hire Ron Marquez. He's only been in practice since 2010, and has already been suspended, and was even barred from practicing in CA in 2018. Yet he continues with the malpractice, and ZERO ETHICS.
