I have pretty much nothing but good things to say about this company. Started in 2018 45k In debt 10 debtors. I was lost on my own they took care of everything. Stopped the calls from coming in. They told me it would take 3-4 years but allowed me to lessen my monthly deposits during Covid to only what was defiantly needed. Helped at time but added like 2 years on which I understand. But now I’ve paid off 9 of 10 creditors and in 7 months I’ll be free of all that 45k in debt. Plus my credit score in mid 700s now.

Negative 5 stars. I trusted this company, which was a HUGE mistake. You are better off negotiating your debts on your own. Not only is my credit ruined, the amount I've paid is higher than what my original debt was. There are hidden "negotiation fees" which are not brought to your attention until the last debt is resolved. You can negotiate for yourself for free, and save your credit along the way. Don't make the same mistake I did and trust this company with your finances!

Terrible firm. They decided to use all I had saved up in my account the past few months for their sudden and unannounced "service fees" and are not negotiating with the creditors. I already negotiated one of my accounts as Gitmeid was not reliable. Just negotiate your debt on your own with your creditors. Do not bother with this firm. Also - they never told me that settled debt is considered income by the IRS and now I'll be taxed on the settled amount so I'll likely not have much of any savings. Update 2/6/2024 - Going from bad to worse. So i received another call today from a rep that said they could look into options for my remaining unresolved credit which was initially only $3k. They transferred me to a loan company that said they would not absorb that into my current loan. Then I called my creditor to try and negotiate myself since Gitmeid said they won't attempt to even start the negotiations until August!! That's another 6 months and I've been waiting 8 months already. My creditor apparently got tired of waiting and charged off the account which is an even WORSE scenario than what I was in before. Now I owe more than the original debt and my credit is in the toilet because a charged off account impacts your score extremely negatively. Now I have to wait for the collections agency this creditor turned my account over to, to send a letter. I would continue to tell people to stay away. What they told me orally was apparently not what they had me sign off on. Do yourself a favor and just negotiate directly with your creditors.

I was really happy with the first round of debt they settled. The program was to last about 3 years. After about a year, they tried to offer transferring the program to someone else that would pay off the loan while they still worked to settle my debts but instead of paying for 2 more years the offer would be about the same amount of money each month for another 5 years. I obviously did not accept that because it was a horrible offer. I don’t know if it was because I didn’t accept that or they really just couldn’t negotiate offers as good for me as the first settlements but no other settlement offer was as good after that. I ended up settling an offer on our own and removing a debt. I believe I paid the original amount of money that it was supposed to be with all the debts on there and I ended up getting $50 refunded to me even though two were removed. We also used our entire tax refund check to try to end the program early so we could have money each month to pay for a second vehicle for our 6 person family. It took about 6 months and several phone calls from that time for everything to finally be resolved and get that refund. It felt like they were dragging their feet on it and that they settled the last debt just enough to use up all the money. The last phone call I had, I was told I could expect over $70 back if settled within a certain amount of time but it was only $50. I would say nearly everyone I spoke to was friendly though. The program did allow me to pay off those debts instead of spending years trying to pay it off with interest but our credit is terrible because of it and we are paying higher interest rates on our vehicles. Had the program continued the way it began I would recommend it but considering how everything ended up we aren’t exactly pleased.

Great Program especially when you have a lot of debt. Most of the time it takes I believe about 24 to 48 months to solve your debt issues. They are very nice and if anything were to happen with one of your debt accounts and they were to come after you they have lawyers on hand that will help you as part of your program.

If I could give negative stars I would. Stay away from this company! They start with great service but the moment you call to request something from them,...
