I had the pleasure of working with Chris Atkinson on my VA Disability claim. The VA is a daunting burochracy that often makes you feel like it's them verse you. Working with Chris takes the angst away. He is more then knowledable, he understands the VA language and rating system. and will get you the rating you deserve!
Omg I applied for My SSI six years ago.
In 2022 I appealed with Kenneth Hiller and I ended up with Charles Gaughn.
He is the BEST.
He worked so hard to help me Prepare my Case.
I have issues with communication and Memory,it didn't matter to Charlie,he stayed calm with me and didn't get aggravated with me .He is very Patient and kind .I am definitely definitely referring him to everyone I know ..
❤️Thanks Charlie ❤️
They were amazing! Truly enjoyed working with them. I wouldn’t go to any other firm, they helped me with every and anything I needed. Made my stress go down 100%!
To start with, this lawfirm took my SS Disability case and I thought I was in good hands. The initial application for my Disability was filed by a law clerk who sent it in with false information and blatant lies. For instance a simple question, do I have children, law clerk said no and yet I have three daughters. Social security sent me the paper back and I had to fill it out in pen and initial everything that was incorrect and correct it in handwriting like I was in Elementary school. After I sent the initial application in a second time, I was denied. The lawyer had no idea that I was denied when I called them and and refiled an appeal. The appeal was denied based on a third party SS doctor who was 80 and never examined me. He had me stand on my toes and rock back on my heels. He wouldn't even take copies of my MRI nor the Neurosurgeon notes stating I can't work any longer. The law firm stated there was nothing we could do except file for hearing which would take 12 to 18 months additional to the already 15 months. I have been waiting. That was okay with them because the more money they make on a case in back pay from social security for you more money they make for themselves. I called a congressman and was able to get my case put before a real doctor at the security administration and just by looking at the MRI's and surgical notes she determined that I was eligible for Disability. Again I had to push everything and contact the lawyers whenever I received information from social security. They were copied in on all the emails. They did nothing except for file the initial application incorrectly and file an appeal. They charged me fourteen hundred dollars for nothing. They didn't solve my case, I did. The case was turned over to the Attorney General who then referred me to the NY lawyer review board. This is a panel made up of lawyers who decided that they did nothing wrong. The attorney general thought differently and I will be contacting their office again and push this further. I asked their office if they would please dismiss the charges and give me the money back since I solved my own page and they said no we filed. The initial application which again was incorrect and they filed an appeal. That to him was worth fourteen hundred dollars. Nothing I have said in here is not true so the law firm cannot say a thing to me. I would not hire them to write a will. Good luck if you do hire them. Oh yeah, I forgot to put in here that my lawyer never spoke to me over the phone. It was always a legal aid. Fourteen hundred dollars for legal aid is what I paid for. It's funny I thought I hired a lawyer. Again be careful they don't do their jobs. And as everybody can see I have written. This very nicely and it is all the truth. My opinion is it would be Is worth it to find a different law firm to represent you. One that actually communicates with you.
My husband and I wish to express our sincere gratitude to the Law Offices of Kenneth Hiller, PPLC for all they have done for us. We have had the pleasure of working with several kind, helpful and efficient associates as they worked through the bureaucracy of the Veterans Administration for us. They have been patient with our questions and explained the process thoroughly. Their help came at a time in our lives when both of us had been diagnosed with cancer and were navigating the rigors of treatment. We cannot express the immense relief it was to have them take over the daunting job of obtaining health care and disability benefits for my husband. They have continued to work on my husband’s behalf and have pursued the maximum benefits allowed to him. Their care and advocacy for veterans has been apparent. We are truly appreciative to everyone at Kenneth Hiller who have assisted us.
