Attorney Julio Henríquez is an immigrant and human rights activist who has worked extensively with migrant communities. He is a human rights and immigration attorney who heads the Law Office of Julio Henríquez, based in Boston, United States. As International Legal Coordinator of Foro Penal, he has represented victims of human rights violations before international forums. As Director of the Refugee Freedom Program, he has documented the crisis of forced Venezuelan migration from its beginning. Admitted to practice law in New York and Venezuela, he holds an LLM from New York University with a concentration in justice and human rights, an LLM from the National University of Singapore with a concentration in international and comparative law, and a law degree from the University of Carabobo. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the TPS-DED Administrative Advocacy Coalition, the New York State Bar Association, and the Board Member of Justice at Work.
