Attorney Franz J. Maurer is a lifelong resident of the State of Wisconsin. Born and raised in Marshfield, Attorney Maurer graduated from Marshfield Area Senior High in 1989, before attending the University of Wisconsin at Madison and receiving a Bachelor of Arts with a double major of Political Science and Global Economics in 1994. Attorney Maurer then attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and received his Juris Doctor in 1997. Attorney Maurer has nearly 20 years of practical legal experience and expertise, and has considerable trial experience both at the State and Federal level. Attorney Maurer is licensed to practice in every Court in the State of Wisconsin, including Federal Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. Attorney Maurer has also published a detailed book on landlord/tenant laws and their analysis and application in the State of Wisconsin. He has taught continuing legal education (CLE) seminars to both the public, as well as to judges and attorneys in the State of Wisconsin for a number of years. Attorney Maurer has been a contributing column writer for the Appleton Post Crescent, has served on the Board of Directors for the Community Restorative Justice Project (CRJP), has operated the summer day camp program for the Cub Scouts of America, and has served as a volunteer coach for the Pop Warner Football Program. Attorney Maurer is an active outdoorsman, who enjoys spending his free time with his family fishing, boating, hiking, biking, camping and swimming. Attorney Maurer also enjoys traveling and exploring new areas and cultures, and is an avid collector and historian.
