I have nothing but good things to say about Mr. Tiomkin. This gentlemen actually did what I asked him to do. After all an attorney is technically working for you when they are hired by you the client. A quick Brief summary of my case; I had already gone thru five attorneys in more then three long years. None of these attorneys (“that I paid well I might add”) ever did what I asked them to do. They didn’t file one motion, I had wasted lots of my money, not to mention Three years of my life Wasted going to court date after court date after court date!! . But the minute I hired Mr. Tiomkin I was so burnt out on court date after court date I was almost ready to just give up and accept a plea!!! What was happening was I had been going to court for 38 months already and when I tell you some times two or three times in a month having to go to court and the long commute I had from Ventura county. Then wondering if this attorney was going to help me or give me up to the DA and arrange a plea for me to take without even trying to help me beat my case!!! I didn’t know things were like that when dealing with the courts & private attorneys. but this attorney didn’t do that. He actually looked at my case file he took the time to read all of it and make notes as well as suggest certain motions at the same time informing me of what Motions were supposed to achieve and what my next step would be based on the end result of such motion/s . But the first thing he did is took the time to go over my case with me. Something so simple but most attorneys choose to ignore & blow off. Especially once they received they’re retainer fees from you. . However Mr. Tiomkin did the opposite, he sat down and actually listened to my suggestions. plus when I had an idea he didn’t cut me off and make me feel less then anything but an equal. He treated me with dignity & respect. which is much more then can be said about every other attorney I dealt with up until that point. I right away felt a sense of calm running thru me. I had a great feeling about this guy. Four months later and all my charges were dismissed!! Plus it would have been fewer then four months had covid emergency extensions not been enforced in California courgrooms. The first thing he did as my attorney is file motions that should have been filed in the first place for which all the previous attorneys never even filed one motion for my for my case. He actually showed me my discovery unlike previous attorneys I had hired them fired due to them working for the other party. I know what your thinking something that is your god given right as a citizen of this fine country to be able to review (“ the discovery is the evidence the state has prepared - basically it’s the evidence the state has or doesn’t have to make the claims for whatever charges you have against you”). however this isnt always the case when you accidentally hire an attorney who’s whole objective is to give you to the wolves. Mr. Tiomkin always made sure to tell the judge any thing I might have asked him to mentIon to the judge on my behalf of my Case in point I wanted not to waive anymore time In my case so he made sure to state for the record that his client (me) did not wish to give up that right and only due to the covid extension order that was the only reason it was being continued to the next month etc etc. but back to the motions... had Mr. Tiomkin not filed those motions for my case then it would have been taken to trial. Motions that he told me should have been filed by previous attorneys whom which did nothing and actually lied to me about filing any motions for me. I would have had one hell of a uphill battle at that point. But even so I never doubted that I would be found innocent of all charges! God bless you. I’m free of all charges. now I can get all my property back which has been wrongfully been taken from me. I highly recommend using this attorney for any criminal case you might have. You honestly won’t regret it and you’ll save a ton of your hard earned money and your time.
