I married a Filipina woman that had come to the U.S.A. to care for a Filipino family. The father was sickly and needed a caregiver. The father was responsible to renew my wife's visa. He died and his wife needed a caregiver, so my wife cared for her. No one renewed my wife's visa. When I married my wife, I discovered my wife's visa had expired.
