My 17yo foster son gave them $200 in cash (before he came to live with us) because someone recommended them to him to help with his immigration process. That was in 8/2024, and he was unable to attend his appointment because of CPS picking him up from the shelter he was in. He and I have called several times seeking a refund. They have given us the runaround and I don't think they ever intend to pay him back. Mr. Roberts may be an excellent lawyer, but I'm sorry to say his staff is very disappointing and frustrating.

This is, without doubt, the most disheartening review I’ve ever had to write. This firm has complicated the lives of at least three individuals I know. Don’t expect the guidance of a competent solicitor; instead, you’re likely to be humiliated by ill-equipped and unprofessional staff. To any potential clients, consider yourselves warned: this is, by far, the worst law office you could choose. The staff are not only inexcusably rude but also utterly lacking in resourcefulness and empathy. You’ll remain in the dark about the management of your case and how your hard-earned money is being spent. If you have an abundance of time to waste on endless calls, chasing indifferent staff for appointments, then perhaps this firm is for you. If you enjoy being shouted at, patronised, and reprimanded for the simple act of seeking updates on your case, by all means, sign up. Otherwise, steer well clear. To those who have suffered at the hands of this office, I have one piece of advice: many of you may have grounds to file an ineffective assistance of counsel claim. Your hard-earned money, your tears, and your dreams mean absolutely nothing to them. As an asylum seeker, you are treated merely as a source of cash flow. They show no regard for how their actions—or their appalling lack of action—can utterly devastate your life. This firm does not care about the irreparable damage they cause, so hold them accountable.

The secratries in this office dont help at all and they do not use polite words… never saw kind of secretaries in my life……but mr james roberts is one of the best lawyers across usa and very respectful thank u mr james roberts
