Where do I even begin from? What a patient Journey! It feels so SURREAL knowing that I now have my 10-YEAR GREEN CARD through VAWA!!! All thanks to God almighty, E.M.Wafula and her efficient and professional Team. I ran into The VawaQueen randomly on instagram, I watched her videos and attended her lives for weeks! She’s just so good at what she does! So prayerful, intelligent, smart and could relate to immigrants and their struggles! My journey started in Oct. 2021. I was so scared to even apply, but Attorney Wafula with her ever soothing personality made me feel at ease during the first consultation! A week went by and I was still scared to proceed. Her call came just at a nick of time! And that was it! All through the process, I had nothing to worry about! They kept me updated every step of the way! I ran into attorney Wafula’s profile on social media and after watching a number of informative videos she had shared I decided to give it a shot by calling her. I called the office and booked an appointment. When the day came I spoke to her and it felt like some weight had been lifted off my chest even before I filed anything. She was extremely reassuring! Happy dance… with faith, belief, and trust in God to give Wafula's team the knowledge and understanding to take these immigration tasks very seriously. I just want to say thanks to her team for fighting this battle. So far, so good—I have successfully gotten a combo card. With this new government in place, this was really stressful for me. And just like everyone else who is still waiting on their pending case, just believe that there’s a God who sits high and looks down low. We might be at our lowest point now, but I’m not saying this because I got approved. I’m saying this because I was and still am there. We have a purpose. And let’s shine with her. When I started this journey, there were a lot of people who said this whole VAWA process don’t work except you have a police report. It don’t work for men only women but after consultation with two lawyers before meeting Attorney Wafula. Those previous lawyers didn’t give me no hope or insight about the vawa process. After my consultation with the attorney, I got the sign of relief and more information about the process. If she tells you after a consultation you have a case trust and believe you do. My process was long but they were always there during the process. Doing their jobs and making sure all your questions are answered and paperwork’s are filed on time. I’m grateful and I pray God continue to bless her and the law firm in general to continue doing the work they do. Changing people lives during these difficult times.
