I had terminated my previous law firm, before hiring Peter one year into my divorce proceedings. I was looking for a firm with experience, gravitas and intimate knowledge of the law. Peter and his Team were that and more. I particularly appreciated his candor- when to push and when to back off, given the specifics of the case. You can burn an almost unlimited amount of money on a divorce and you must know which battles to fight and which to yield on. Peter was almost 100% right on his calls, based on how the case played out. The settlement we initially constructed ended up being very close to the final settlement, though the opposing party wouldn't agree to the initial terms before many wasted hours of court hearings, depositions and court filings. While you can't control the other party, he knew where a good outcome would be, and we got there prior to trial. If you are looking for incomparable experience and advocacy, as well as candor, you must hire Lauzon and his Team. This is not the area to shop for the lowest cost- ultimately what matters is where you end up.

I'm a huge Peter Lauzon fan. I can't mince words, he's the best attorney you could possibly turn to. He's tough when he needs to be, but don't let that fool you, he goes on a journey with his client, he cares deeply and he doesn't let you settle for less than what you're worth. In 2017 Peter Lauzon was my attorney in my annulment hearing v. Yansy Mendez. As we left my annulment hearing, Peter mysteriously found a pile of envelopes containing $100 bills, thousands of dollars cash, directly in front of a camera at 222 n Hill st. It was called a “random act of kindness” and no explanation was given. In 2019 one of his associates, David, confessed a lot of graphic criminal activity to me in a text message. Mostly related to human trafficking of Latin American people, & texts were given to law enforcement. I then submitted a malpractice complaint against mr Lauzons referral source, Farzin Yaghmaie. As I did this, that very same day, mr Lauzon filed a “minute order withdrawal of attorney form” on my case v Mendez without informing me. Mr Lauzon & associates had previously urged me not to show my ex wife the court documents he had with her signatures. When I showed Yansy these documents in 2019, she had never seen them before. After my annulment, & davids text confessions of human trafficking, I had found videos of Yansy and her associate William crying & being trafficked online, with financial transactions posted in the comments on the videos. I could not feel worse about my experience with Lauzon Family Law. This man is a criminal.
