Do NOT hire this attorney. John Kail never spoke me except about 3 minutes at Greene County courthouse. He let his assistant Patrick come to short courthouse meetings for short routine things. I only made $30,000 in 2022 so paying his $4,000 retainer was a struggle. After he got the full amount he called me to his office and accused me and defense witnesses of being which I took great offense to as a Christian. He apparentlty wanted me to lie so he could settle the case easily and I would be guilty of a felony and he had no ethical morality that I could detect. He did have arrogance and refused to beleive even discovery supporting my innocence. I am soon reporting him to Missouri Bar. If you are innocent then run away quickly from this attorney. If you are guilty I don't know if he is good at getting your punishment reduced but I think he is either lazy or hates criminals making him inappropriate as a defense lawyer in either instance.
