Make sure you read every line of the contract you sign with them. Because they do not give any of your retainer back. I was lead to believe otherwise. It states very clearly that they will keep it. This is my fault for not reading this contract, I admit it. And even after finally receiving my divorce decree they were sending me an email stating my account trust was getting low and I needed to replenish it back to the original amount…so they could keep it. Why would they do that? No wonder I am not fond of attorneys. Here we are waiting for this divorce decree so we can move on with certain aspects of our lives and they wait until the days end to send it to you. I found out from my ex that morning…not even them. Talk about poor communication. People work hard for their money…WORK being the key word here. I have never kept any money that I didn’t WORK for. This was originally posted 6 months ago and in going back it had been removed from their reviews. I was a client and everything I stated was truthful.
