I contacted the Raynes Erikson law firm on Feb 18th 2021 regarding what we believe to be my father's wrongful death as a result of malpractice. My initial contact was with Crystal Sosa who asked that I fill out an intake questionnaire. She emailed me the questionnaire, which I submitted the following day as well as the death certificate and other pertinent information. I followed up with Crystal on Monday the 22nd of February. Crystal said that she received my email and that I would be contacted within a week. I sent an email on the 5th of March to see if this is a case they could work with and did not receive a reply. On 3/16/21, I contacted Crystal and she seemed surprised that I had not heard anything back and said that I would most likely be contacted by the end of business yesterday. I called today, 3/17.21 and spoke with Janice. I explained the situation and may have mispronounced the attorneys name (possibly said Haynes instead of Raynes) and instead of focusing on the fact that it has been close to 30 days since I first made contact, she reprimanded me for pronouncing the name wrong. My mother was referred by J. David Horspool and said that we would be taken care of. That has definitely not been the case.
