Receptionist was very friendly but the lawyer wasn't at all. Had a bad case of R.B.F. Also, didn't seem to know much about custody battles because she doesn't know what joint custody is among other things. However, we heard good reviews on her but I wasn't impressed.

Just to share my experience. MJM name alone in jackson strikes fear in other attorneys Thats what she has done best. Intimidate. But it crosses over to her clients. She talks down and takes advantage of people in their weakest moment. She preys upon people who need help, with no knowledge of the legal system and laws. There are several capable attorneys in our area. Mary Jowers in Lexington is kind, professional, listens and is fair about money. Mary is aging out and will soon be a relic.
