First, I’d like to state I hate leaving bad reviews, look at the reviews I leave they’re all 4-5 stars. But it’s very important for me to let you know about my experience with this law firm. Hiring Naureen Hyder to represent us and handle our green card application/case was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. Because of her negligence and lack of organization my greencard application was denied solely because Naureen couldn’t follow instructions and submit our application at the right time. And she waited 10 days to notify us and only did so because I reached out to her and asked for an update. What’s worse, Naureen is treating me as though I’ve done something wrong, she provided a refund (the very least she could do for wasting 3+ years of our lives) and now we’re stuck starting all over trying to find a new lawyer. To be clear we didn’t fire Naureen, she gave us references and told us to find a new lawyer. I’ve gotten over the mistake, we are human we make mistakes everyday. What I’m upset about is the way my family is being treated after the mistake. I would do whatever I could to try to make up for the mistake, I wouldn’t just kick my client to the curb. As somebody who works in customer service, who works with people everyday I approach mistakes by a saying, it’s not the mistakes you make but how you react to the mistakes you make that show your character. Naureen made a huge mistake, (4 other immigration lawyers said it was the most negligent mistake they’ve ever heard an immigration lawyer make) and she simply decided to just ignore it, push my family aside and move on. At the end of the day it’s simple, there are many immigration law offices and this is a bad one. You should not hire Naureen Hyder to handle yours or your families immigration, she could set your family back years!!! It’s simply not worth the risk of hiring somebody with such poor character and lack of accountability.
