I will say I have not reached a settlement with my soon-to-be former husband but find it important to convey my gratitude and my experience with the firm.
The first point of contact was with the office administrator, Solveig (I hope that's how she spells it). She comes across highly intelligent, helpful and genuinely kind. As far as Nate goes, he has an uncanny ability of making you feel protected which is important to me because I am the vulnerable party and I am frightened for my future. I initially chose Nate to represent me but then decided to seek out less expensive services. That was a nightmare. My second attorney ** did not make me feel supported***, cared for, or that he competent enough to understand the complexity of my case. The second attorney also had more **expensive FEES** which ended up costing me more than the hourly fee Nate charges. Because my previous attorney and I never made it to mediation, I asked Nate to take me back, which he did.
People may not know how important relationships between attorneys is, but it is highly important and other attorneys I spoke to had nothing but great things to say about him. One attorney stated that Nate is a really nice guy BUT he can be a bulldog when needed. The other super power at the firm is his paralegal Kassandra Jewitt. She's the glue that keeps everything moving along and just a pleasant, brilliant lovely human being from what I can tell.
**Cheaper is not necessarily better when it comes to the hourly fees of an attorney. You get what you pay for has been my experience.** Thank you Nate!

Not all attorneys are created equal! From my experience, many are the secondary predator to the monster you are divorcing. Nate was essentially my hero after getting out of a long and abusive marriage where my ex was trying to leave me with nothing. Having him as my attorney was a game changer for my life and my future. He truly cares about helping you and he will tell it to you like it is and not let you waste money/time/resources on un-winnable battles. He is not inexpensive but he also works efficiently which keeps the bill more reasonable. He is also kind and very well respected within the court system. I cannot recommend him enough especially if you are the underdog divorcing a predatory spouse.
