When you're dealing with things like DV and custody, the last thing you need is to be used and abused by your lawyer/firm, someone who is supposed to advocate for and care about you. I was with this firm for about a year. I was forced to switch to 3 different lawyers and was charged each time. DO NOT go with this firm. The first lawyer I had was so cold and gave bad legal advice that ended up screwing up my case. I was with the second lawyer for about a month before they switched me again. Again, I was charged each time for each new lawyer to review my case and to meet with them to catch them up. It was traumatizing because I'm going through a custody battle and DV case so each time I had to explain again about how my soon to be ex-husband is abusing and has abused me and my children. I've also been charged even when THEY had to reschedule a meeting. It was unreal. They called me a couple hours prior and I graciously agreed. Thankfully I watched the bills because they had the nerve to charge me for that call. It seems like they are very scattered, unorganized and greedy. I acknowledge that lawyers deserve to be paid but they absolutely went too far. One of my lawyers I had literally called me the wrong name in court multiple times. One time mispronouncing it and one time calling me someone else's name entirely. It was humiliating. She also filed papers from someone else's case with my case papers. It was a nightmare! I'm so thankful I left and I now have a lawyer who genuinely cares.

Realistic expectations and they inform you of all possible outcomes prior to taking your money, which is a drastic contrast from other firms who over promise during consultations. Greg Ryan is honest and I trust this firm. I recommend following their advice and never stop advocating for your children. If an attorney ever tells you to stop advocating find a new attorney. After following the “legal advice” of Anne Ottoman, I lost access to my children indefinitely. I would never recommend this law firm to anyone. My life is ruined due to a bitter ex husband that used the legal system against me to isolate my children from their mother. My experience with Greg Ryan & Associates, specifically working with Attorney Ann Otteman, was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. Throughout my divorce proceedings, it felt as though I was left to fend for myself, with little to no support from Attorney Ann. From the outset, it was evident that Attorney Ann was overwhelmed with her workload. Despite my attempts to communicate my concerns and advocate for my best interests, she consistently urged me to settle for less and accept whatever the opposing party offered. It seemed as though she had little interest or motivation to fight on my behalf. Trying to get Attorney Ann to take action or even respond to my inquiries was a constant struggle. Phone calls often went unanswered, and when they were returned, it was usually after four or more days. Similarly, my emails seemed to fall on deaf ears, with little to no acknowledgment or follow-up. As a result of Attorney Ann's lack of dedication and responsiveness, my divorce proceedings dragged on for almost three long years, causing immense stress and financial strain. Ultimately, I had no choice but to withdraw her services and seek assistance from another law firm.
