All legal bills were paid on time. All requested paperwork was provided on time, perfectly organized. 2 weeks before a critical court date- I was notified that my case was too difficult for my attorney to handle and that they were no longer going to represent me. I was then forced to represent myself in front of the judge at the hearing as 2 weeks is not enough time to obtain a new lawyer. Then having left me to represent myself with no time to get a new lawyer they had the audacity to send me another legal bill. They actually billed me for preparing the notice to inform me that my case was to difficult for them to handle.

My divorce was a "friendly divorce" in which the final settlement was not that much different than my first offer. Yet it took 21 months to dot the i's. Goss's accountant (Darren Silva) took 4 months and charged $50,000 to determine that I could not prove that I brought certain assets to the marriage. If he or Goss explained what was the burden of my proof, I would have conceded that fact immediately and avoided the $50,000. Over the 4 months, I emailed Silva twice with a question. I got a boilerplate answer the first time and he did not bother to answer the second time. $50,000 does not buy you much in the divorce arena. Then Goss assembled a grand conclave of expensive lawyers and accountants and presented a proposal, not proof read by me, that had such an erroneous and huge concession to my wife that nobody took it serious and everyone went home. Later he volunteered, without my approval, that I would pay all the legal expenses. Subsequent proposals were couched in such complicated and inconsistent terms that the opposing council often didn't recognize a concession when it was made. And one such concession was later shown to be undeserved, but the footprints of the concession were so obscure that we could not walk the concession back. As a generality, no issue was solved by Goss and opposing council. All issue were negotiated directly between me and my wife. When all was said and done, the only tangible service that the two legal teams and the accountant did was to insert our names and a property settlement, that my wife and I ironed out, into a boilerplate. And that cost me over $170,000 (my lawyer+ accountant +opposing lawyer).

Very technical divorce lawyer, perhaps the best in our county. Actually saved me quiet a bit more money than he charged. One technicality he noticed, which her lawyer had missed, saved me nearly a million dollars .
