Mr. Gillis negotiated a fair settlement with the at fault party's insurance adjuster. Mr. Gillis and his paralegal, Roz Carey, are professional, punctual and always easy to reach. That is too bad the previous reviewer had a bad experience. That is not remotely familiar to the firm we have used for years. Recently, our family experienced a nightmare of a case. You know it is bad when the New York Times offers to do a story about it. We could not have gotten through this without Michael Gillis. He was up front and matter of fact, but at the same time was compassionate and informative. He guided us through 8 months of hell and I can rest assure you that I would not have wanted anyone else representing us. This was an extremely unique case that Michael handled masterfully. Despite the fact that I was a nervous wreck in the courtroom it was pretty amazing watching Michael in a courtroom. People would ask me all of the time "Do you have a good attorney?" Without a doubt we had the BEST attorney!

My Dad was in a hit and run accident in Florida, on his motorcycle, and after suffering a ruptured aorta, collapsed lung and broken back, he is still with us - albeit paralyzed from the waist down. David Bikofsky was recommended to me by someone who had used him when his daughter was in a terrible car accident in Georgia. David was our lifeline as my family went through the first 12 months after the accident. To say he went above and beyond to help us is an understatement. He researched Florida and Vermont laws, he spoke with state police and attorneys from the multiple facilities where my Dad received care as he recovered, and he also helped us navigate through Medicare's involvement. He came up with a strategy that allowed my parents to recover a settlement against their own insurance policies, and because of that, they have been able to purchase a wheelchair van and have made accommodations to their home in Vermont, and it's miraculous to us that they have come through this and are doing well. I would recommend David to anyone.

Very unimpressed with their practices. They took on my case and specifically stated there were no upfront costs, a contract was signed to support this. Many months elapsed before they really did anything and then decided to not support my case unless I paid them $2,000. The attorney I met was very nice, but seemed to be very young and inexperienced. I would definitely research other law firms before selecting this firm. End result is they did not make a solid attempt to follow through on the course of action they specified. I would not recommend them under ANY circumstances.
