Trying to help a friend and it really seems shady that you can't get a fee quote for a service without completing unnecessary paperwork. Other attorneys gave a fee up front. This one wants to observe your value before deciding what you'll be willing to pay and have you complete a packet before receiving a quote so that you've mentally committed. They said it's necessary, but I know better because I've already spoken to multiple attorneys and gotten quotes for the same thing.
