I have to question the legitimacy of all of these reviews, especially those claiming to complete their prcesses within 9 months! As everyone knows, NOTHING for immigration takes less than 3yrs!! We spoke to him cause a good contact of ours started working there - needless to say, they no work there any longer due to their "practices"! We never moved forward with services, only cause he charges 3X as much!! Multiple lawyers we spoke to weren't trying to gauge their clients - did not have a good feeling of why or any good explanation why the super high costs! Save your $$, time and stress for someone who doesn't chase ambulances!

The Boring Grind

My girlfriend had made an appt with the secretary here for a 1000 appointment on a Saturday. I thought that was odd since their office hours said closed before I left the house, but I made the hour drive out there anyway. Well naturally it was closed. The confirmation had no date or time so I thought that maybe there had just been a mix up on the day and the time, but while I was sitting in the parking lot hoping maybe someone would show up and they were just late, another couple showed up that also had an appt scheduled for that day. Completely bad practice to schedule appointments during closed hours, wasting two hours of my time and my gas to drive there.

From the very beginning, we decided to choose lawyer Viviane Fonseca. We felt confidence and at peace after our meeting with her, the first consultation. She is extremely professional, polite, knowledgeable and quick to respond. Our case took about 11 months (after gathering all the paper work) and we received our blessing through the mail, no interviews. The only complaint I have is from other departments within Gardilaw. Front desk service could improve for sure. Whenever I’d call, they could never find my case, would accidentally leave me on the phone (thinking I was on hold) and make complaints about their client, and etc. Their service and actions could really impact new customers. The financial department also contacted me a few times asking about payment, when I had already paid in full. I’d send them questions, follow their protocol, but I’d never get a response. A couple of times I had to contact my lawyer directly to try to get some type of response. And another issue was that they are not big communicating. I got a lot of calls from different people asking for the same documents over and over again. Now, I understand many people work together in the cases but you have to communicate. It’s like they never new what was going on. My husband is very patient and even he got a bit frustrated with that. After going through some of these incidents, a very knowledgeable young man, Ubirata, helped us from there on. I contacted him directly whenever I had a question or needed to hand anymore documents. Smooth sailing from there on. Our lawyer Viviane and Ubirata were superb with their work ethic and professionalism. Thank you again for everything! It was all worth it and you guys were the ones they helped us achieve our blessings!! Mariana.
