Zero stars for zero customer service. This law firm seems more focused on money than actually helping clients. When I chose not to hire them, they became rude and even threatening. I have nothing against the company itself, but employing unhelpful staff—especially at the front desk—only damages their reputation.

My experience with Gaines and Gaines started in April of 2021. I needed some legal advice, and Evan was the first guy on the job. Then he handed it off to his brother Daniel, who closed the deal. These guys worked for 3 years to get us what we deserved, and when I say us, I mean 4 of us. Yup, it turned into a class action lawsuit. They walked us through every step of the way, keeping open communication and getting the job done. if I ever live back in California and I need legal advice when it comes to employers, I will definitely be using Gaines and Gaines. My experience with the Gaines & Gaines law firm was nothing short of exceptional! Besides seeing that Daniel Gaines is on ThreeBestRated for employment lawyers, I contacted them because they ONLY represent EMPLOYEES and consumers (not employers). I submitted my issues via their website and heard from their intake coordinator Christopher (who was fabulous) the very next day. Christopher spent quite a bit of time confirming the related issues and asking excellent pointed questions. He asked me to email a few documents which I did the following day. As soon as they received my documents, I was contacted by text, email and a follow-up call (since I had not responded right away) to schedule a free consultation with attorney David Gaines. Attorney David Gaines called a few minutes late but immediately apologized for the delay. I knew I was in great hands with that kind of accountability. Attorney Gaines discussed all of my issues and advised me to (1) contact my employer for a settlement and (2) if that did not resolve to my liking, file a claim with the Labor Commissioner. Monetarily my case is not huge so the free advice on how to proceed was so appreciated. Later I emailed Christopher with a follow-up question about how attorney Gaines had calculated things. To my surprise, he offered more complimentary time with Mr. Gaines. So as not to unnecessarily take more of the attorney's valuable time, I emailed Christopher my questions and he replied with Mr. Gaines' answer the next day. I have dealt with a number of law firms throughout my life but Gaines & Gaines gets my highest recommendation! Not only is their EXPERTISE top notch, but their COMMUNICATION is prompt, professional and always delivered with COMPASSION.
