Peter Britton is a liar. On numerous occasions he told me things that didn’t come to pass. Caused me to spend more time in jail than I should have. I recommend he never represent anyone in a criminal case. Worst public defender I’ve ever had.

If you want a lawyer who: Will speak down to you Make you feel insignificant and unimportant Not show up to appointments Ignore your calls and emails Make excuses through his assistant Nikki (who is the ONLY positive thing about my experience. Thank you Nikki) Drag his feet refunding you when you fire him Make you spend THREE EXTRA WEEKS in jail because you fired him Not get your court paperwork to you (as required by law; P.S. the Bar Association will be to see you, Petey) Generally be the worst mistake you can make.... Then Peter Britton is the "lawyer" for you. If he spent half the time he does primping in the mirror actually practicing law, he could probably be one hell of a lawyer. To his credit, he did refund my full retainer, but he also put me in a position that made me sit 21 extra days in jail on a probation violation. If you're thinking about hiring him, maybe just take that money to the casino and hope to win enough to hire a REAL attorney. Or light it on fire. At least then you can enjoy the fire.
