While he did successfully get my case dismissed, I am giving only 2 stars due to the poor level of communication throughout the process. I had just three points of contact with him: during the initial consultation, after the case was dismissed, and when he emailed me requesting more payment. As an active duty military member stationed in Japan, I operate in a completely different time zone, which makes timely communication critical. One of my biggest concerns was whether I needed to appear in court, as traveling from Japan would have been virtually impossible. He initially assured me he would update me on whether my appearance could be waived. Unfortunately, he never followed up, leaving me anxious and uncertain for months. I was genuinely worried about facing a warrant if I traveled back to the U.S. to visit family. During the months between my ticket in June and the trial in September, I reached out twice via email and made about five phone calls, but I never got to speak with him directly only his secretary. The secretary even tried to charge me an additional $100 consultation fee just to discuss the status of my court appearance waiver. It wasn’t until the day before the trial that I was finally informed (by the secretary, not the lawyer) that my appearance had been waived. Additionally, the agreement document I signed to hire him had my name misspelled, which felt careless and unprofessional. This being my first experience hiring a lawyer, I was deeply disappointed. I don’t know if his lack of communication was due to a bias against military clients, but if you’re active-duty, I’d strongly recommend finding someone else. While he may be better suited for civilian cases, I cannot recommend him based on my experience.

Drew will really fight for his client. My case settled in mediation and. during mediation he was ready to fight the case in court for me. I’ve dealt with other lawyers in the past and he has been one of the best or actually the best about communication I would rate him 10 stars if I could i always recommend Drew he truly cares for his clients and will fight for you the entire time.
