Don’t waste your time and money! Was scammed $6000 for an immigration case I exclusively looked around for a lawyer that wouldn’t screw us over the previous owner (lawyer) promised not to screw us over they changed owners and told me they couldn’t return our money we did not ask to be represented by this new lawyer to handle our case they immediately told us our case was closed and they would not return us our money. Now we’re out of $6000 and absolutely nothing was done. I am going to make a report with the state bar and BBB please don’t waste your time on these so called lawyers.

I had a very poor experience with this company and its attorney. No one ever returned my calls, and I’m quite certain the attorney had no real understanding of my case. During our calls, he never properly answered my questions, yet I was still billed for those interactions. Honestly, Google provided better guidance. Instead of addressing my situation effectively, he tried to convince me to pursue alternative resolutions, which offered no real benefit to me, rather than taking the case to court. Thankfully, I decided to switch law firms three months before the trial and ultimately won the case. I’m confident I would have lost had I stayed with Mr. Douglas Kouffie as my attorney. I would not recommend this firm to anyone.

I Used this company back in 2022. I am writing this review now because only in 2024 my situation got resolved. My general impression about the company was good: nice office, good reviews, and very nice statements from the lawyers on the website. However, the reality appeared to be very different. I felt like Mr. Kouffie hardly read my case. In fact, I mostly worked with Juan Jimenez (who did a great job, by the way). That was the only positive moment of my cooperation with this company. I was unprepared for the court, Mr. Kouffie stopped by the room where I was sitting with paralegal and spent 15 minutes total with us. That was a couple of days before the court. He did not prepare me for possible questions that the judge could ask, he seemed to be in a hurry and treated me and my case like something very unimportant. But the biggest surprise came on the court day. Right after the beginning of the hearing it appeared that the Prosecutor offered a settlement ( which I was not aware of at all and was never asked if I actually wanted to do that) and Mr. Kouffie agreed to the settlement. It made my situation even worse and it took me almost 2 years to get back on track. But who cares, since I paid the money! I would recommend thinking twice before going with this company. This whole situation gave me a better understanding of why people dislike lawyers. Too bad I can not put zero stars.
