I believe the comments here about Tara Senn are a misrepresentation of people who just didn’t get the outcome they expected. I was represented by her today in court with many obstacles not in my favor. I watched her go to bat for me with the commonwealth who was less than willing to work with us. But her diligent efforts and knowledge proved to be the factor as she spoke to the judge on my behalf. With my grim expectations she managed to out so herself. She saved me. Let me also say she was appointed as a public defender. This shocked me and changed me belief that you don’t get the same effort from attorneys when your not paying up front. I also had no problems communicating with her. By phone and email she has been in touch, with the understanding that she is really busy and likely over worked. I wouldn’t just recommend her, I would highly suggest her if your in need of someone to listen and help you when you really need it. I personally want to thank her very much. Eric.

I should have read more reviews or made more phone calls before hiring this firm. Tara Senn was my representative and was uncommunitive. Answred calls and discussed case intil I paid, then only got an email requesting documents from her assistant. No further phone calls. And disregarded emails. No replies. I assume she went to court for me but never phoned or emailed with an outcome. I received a hefty fine with no detail from the court and still haven't heard from my hired attorney. I don't even know what I was convicted of or what she did in court to plead my case. Highly unsatisfied! After posting this review I finally received a phone call, seems a series of u fortunate incidents occurred leading to a delayed response. Court outcome was not favorable because it was a harsh judge. Maybe this us true maybe not... At least I got a response.

Do NOT hire this law firm to have Tara Senn represent you. She was hired for a divorce case and failed to actually do much of anything. She will steal thousands from you and lie about where the money goes! She wouldn’t answer phone calls or emails until too late, withheld documents too long from client that needed turned into the court by a deadline. To top it off, she lied to the judge and said she tried many times to call client but they never responded so WITHOUT notice she withdrew from the case!! She lied saying voicemail box was full, but it’s funny other people called the same days and actually left voicemails; it was never full! Hopefully, I’ll get somewhere by filing a complaint against her with the bar! If you need an attorney, look elsewhere.

David Parker represented me for a traffic violation case in 2010. We were in the process of driving from New York to Texas to begin a new chapter in our lives. While driving through Virginia we got caught in a pack of highly aggressive, speeding drivers. Seeing an opportunity to escape the pack, we did so...and despite the roaring speed that others were ripping around us, it was my wife and I who were pulled over. While I blame the New York plates we had on our car, I was hit with a Reckless Driving charge. Not anticipating just how serious of a charge this was, I plead guilty, assuming that I would only have to pay a moderate speeding fine as it was 15mph over the posted limit, which is typically the case in New York. Thanks to David's communication in this matter when my name turned up on the upcoming case hearings, I learned that not only is this is an extremely serious charge, but that the Virginia traffic laws are some of the harshest in the United States, and that I would be facing up to a year of jail time. I quickly reached out to Mr. Parker, who agreed to represent me. As I was now living in Texas, I could not have made the trip to represent myself in person back in Virginia, so he acted as my representative in absentia. David got the extremely hefty fine significantly reduced to a much more affordable penalty, and the Reckless Driving Charge thrown out upon the completion of an online driver safety course. David Parker's fees were very affordable and the service, communication and action top notch. I am writing this positive review for Mr. Parker's firm 4 years later, because I realize now that everything I have down here in Texas...my home, my career, and most importantly my daughter...would NOT have happened if I had to face a year-long prison sentence. With a prison record, there likely would have been no career opportunities for me for many years to come. My wife would have had to relocate back to NY without me, as there would be no income coming from me to help support our living expenses. And again, most importantly, My daughter would never have been born. We never would have had the chance to start our family. It's 4 years late, but thank you David Parker!
