I don't know about Norman. But mark was highly unprofessional and extremely rude! I never filed bankruptcy before and had a few questions before giving him over $1700. He immediately raised his voice and started yelling at me, and talking as if I was deaf and mentally challenged. I kept trying to be polite, he threatened my father, saying the government will sue him and continued in a loud manner, which everyone heard out in the lobby. I told him to not raise his voice, he did not listen. Took my money elsewhere, suggest u do the same

My interaction with this company was surreal. I just wanted to talk to a lawyer about what options I had regarding a contract dispute, and within five minutes I could tell that this lawyer was in no way going to help. He didn't ask questions about the case, he assumed he knew everything there was to know from the two lines I told his secretary, and was immediately confrontational. He was either ignorant or obtuse, and blew off every argument I made defending myself like I was trying to steal from him or something. I had to really restrain myself from cursing to try and stay in his office and get him to see that I just wanted advice, but when he said "I'm a lawyer and I sue people" in response to me saying I didn't want to sue anyone, I lost my restraint and left. I'm really uncertain as to how this place is in business.

I meant to leave this review back in Summer 2023 but I suppose it’s better late than never (sometimes). I approached Rouse law firm in February 2023 concerning a chapter 7 bankruptcy. I had recently undergone a career change from being a factory worker to becoming an OTR truck driver and my paychecks were suffering. That was compounded with an ugly divorce that left me with nearly $100,000 in tax debt. To say I was drowning in debt would be an understatement of epic proportions. Like those of you reading this review, I was freaked out! I wasn’t even sure if they would be able to help and I certainly wasn’t optimistic. BUT…they did not disappoint in the least. Tabitha and Mark couldn’t have been more helpful or professional. From the very first consultation, my nerves were put to rest when they assured me they would do everything they could to give me a fresh start. I’m here to say they followed through with what they said they would do. My chapter 7 was filed in March 2023 and it was finalized in June or July 2023 and I’ve been able to sleep so much better since that time. Not only that but I also have a much better handle on my finances. If you’re seeking a competent firm to handle your bankruptcy case, you needn’t look any further than Norman E. Rouse, Collins, Webster & Rouse.
