The most important piece of advice I can give in this review is to stop what you’re doing and call Cheryl Bergain Law and make an appointment right away! Cheryl and her assistant Nicole are two of the most dedicated, professional, and compassionate people I have ever met. Those are very important qualities one will need to consider when deciding if bankruptcy is right for you. I know how stressful and frightening it is to be struggling with financial debt and thinking there is no way out. Cheryl will meet with you initially and discuss your current situation. This consult sealed the deal for me. I went in nervous and scared and came out with hope and a sense of relief. Cheryl took a great deal of time explaining the different types of bankruptcy, how the process worked, and everything I should expect. Nicole is always available to answer questions along the way and is very good at getting back to you in a timely manner. She is the one you will become most familiar with during the time period of gathering and submitting your financial documents and statements. Full disclosure. Gathering financial information is A LOT of digging. It can be incredibly stressful dredging that all up. This is the time period where I almost called it quits. Not because of anything they did but because I was so stressed. I kept psyching myself out. Don't do that! The best thing to remember is these two ladies are here for you. They are not here to judge you in any way. They WANT you to get that fresh start that bankruptcy is intended for. A lot of other attorneys I spoke with had great reviews initially but after speaking with them, (and their staff) there was no way I was going to trust them with this type of decision. If you are like me and constantly look at reviews first before picking up the phone, I can tell you just go ahead and give them a call. Get on the path to your fresh financial start.
