The Gardens, for me, is the ideal place for this specialized kind of care. Until the collapse of my bed, I couldn’t imagine my need to complain for any reason. Although management had no contact with me concerning my injuries, the staff continued to help me. Kathy, the Nurse Practitioner, sent me, at my request, to Halifax Hospital. She prescribed the proper medicines including most of my suggestions. She always prescribed the ones my own doctors recommended. Terri, the wound care nurse, by her discretion, provided a month’s supply of each of my medications. They are color coded for morning, noon and night for ease of use. These factors have made the intransigence of Joe Hager, Executive Director, all the more surprising and alarming. I am pleased with your more than stellar performance to date. I have no doubt that your attention to detail, and to me, will continue throughout this process. I have no images of the bed in question; however, I will send the documents that you requested upon my return to my home. I request that, after I provide the documents you requested, and ask the questions which you have, that you limit my involvement with the case. I will, of course, make myself available to you providing you take into account my structured schedule which requires my involvement from 5:10AM to 10:45PM. I recommend that we schedule a time each week for my participation. You may call anytime when there is an urgent need for me. I will remain cheerfully ready to help you at any time as I know that you will respect my exhaustive responsibilities. You have exceeded my expectations till now, and I am sure that always practice the excellent attitude that you have shown me.
