I hired this law firm and ultimately dismissed them from my case. I would notice lots of unreasonable charges, nevertheless, I would pay my bill on time. One day, I received a text advising I was a day late on payment and unless I pay immediately they will file a motion to dismiss me as a client. I was completely taken aback. I had always paid on time; in fact, I had been up to $18,000 in payments at that point. For me to receive a text (not a call) that I would be dismissed as a client for merely being a single day past due as a first occurrence, after having already invested $18,000 was enough for me to know I hired the wrong law group. If you read the negative reviews, there’s a common trend with former clients claiming they were taken advantage of for $17k-$20k. It was the same here. Don’t let it happen to you, especially when you’re going through a hard time. I am proud to say, I did the right thing after receiving that text. I immediately paid my invoice and dismissed this law firm from my case, hired another attorney with better rates, better treatment, and got the outcome I wanted. Life is great today. Gotta say, it felt great when I dismissed this law group from my case. I received more calls than I ever previously received from Cabanas law wanting to talk things out, after dismissing them .
