We had an extremely disappointing experience with James Pietz through MetLife legal plan. During a phone consultation regarding a significant vehicle issue, he was dismissive and very rude. He cut off my husband mid-sentence, claiming he didn’t need all that details, and abruptly ask about irrelevant information. When he shared the amount of the damage $20,000 as that is what he was mostly interest in the $$$$, he said for that amount of money and he abruptly stopped talking and went silent(mute) and despite multiple attempt to continue the conversation he refuse to answer. After waiting for 3 minutes my husband hung up and call back. His assistance answered and said he was in court which was false After I pointed out that I had just spoken to him, she put me on hold, then hung up without a word. I would never recommend this office due to their unprofessionalism.

Jim is a great lawyer, if you just need someone to speak. He is very friendly, He didn’t share all pictures during the case, point out the lack of hurting my chances on an appeal. Requesting that I tell him when they had been taken 5 minutes before the trial. When I sent them to him, everything had dates and explanations. He had said he would call me before to trial to go over everything again, but that never happened. We ended up going in with no trial prep, and to Jim told me the day before, “I will look at it again tonight, I haven’t looked at it since we set the trial date” he had said he would look into other cases and we would meet again to ensure we are prepared. Zero prep, zero coaching on how to answer or what types of questions to answer.. again I would absolutely recommend Jim, as long as you want a lawyer who will do little to no work, show up, and hope that is enough.
