I feel I must put pen to paper for anyone who is looking for an Attorney and reads this. I, without hesitation, recommend Marissa L. Messinger, Esq of Bergen Law in Maywood, NJ. In my case, I had called and spoke with 5 Attorneys in the field of Senior issues (at the time my Aunt was having dementia issues and required help). Only 1 even offered any advice at all. Marissa, on the other hand, recognized my plight and took on my case. She has a "cup half full" attitude and took us through medical for my Aunt, then into Guardianship, and when my Aunt passed, took us through Estate Administratorship, ending in the final disbursement of assets. Ours was not a simple case - many missing parts, complex parts, and if that wasn't enough, our case began at the beginning of the Covid pandemic. It was a full 4-year journey with many ups and downs. But through it all, Marissa remained upbeat, informative, we communicated regularly, and I could call her anytime and she'd respond. This is my first experience with an Attorney and I must say Marissa's attitude, personality, knowledge, and experience made this difficult journey as good as it could have been.
