An acquaintance of mine who hired Mr. Farbstein for a difficult divorce and child custody case recommended Mr. Farbstein to me because my first attorney did not meet my expectations. I established a strong partnership with Mr. Farbstein, and his ability to think strategically impressed me from the beginning. What sets Mr. Farbstein apart is that he consistently demonstrated a caring attitude for our children—and continued to do so after my case was settled.

After acting unethically in my family Case I submitted a complaint regarding his conduct An investigation was opened against him. He was given an option to avoid being disbarred again the resolution was the following: Mr. Farbstein has resigned as a mediator and has agreed not to do mediations in the future. You will be receiving a letter and a copy of the order of dismissal of the case from our office. Florida Dispute Resolution Center Office of the State Courts Administrator Mr Farbstein Disappeared hours at a time while he hid n his office; during that time he decided to bill the hours he claimed to have been “working” he also decided to lie to me and to the other party claiming that we both were Demanding things we never discussed in the past nor ever requested Mr. Farbstein to negotiate for us. He also offered to give me personal information in regards to the other party while he mediated which was unethical. The secretary would cover for him and claim (by yelling) that he was in the office just writing up notes although when he was asked for the notes or any documentation on the 12 hours he took to write these He had nothing .Provided nothing. This man is inappropriate trying to sexualize his staff and clients. He has zero respect for women. Just another sexual predator in a suit. This lawyer is extremely unprofessional. Read about his (3) year suspension by the Florida bar. By his own admission he was an alcoholic and drug user. Used his clients money inappropriately. The Florida bar notes that this offense was one of the most serious offenses a lawyer could commit usually warranting disbarment. Took a friend there and he asked to take her picture for his file. Stay away from this creep.
