I used Amy to file my Chapter 7 after I started being garnished for an old tuition bill. She wasn't sure if she could help me since the debt was from college tuition and she wasn't sure if it would discharge in a Chapter 7. I did some research on my own and decided to just give it a try because I didn't have another option, I couldn't afford the garnishment. Amy filed me quickly to stop the garnishment and even allowed me to make monthly payments on her fees. She explained the process in detail and also gave me documents explaining the process. Filing to discharge time was about 4 months and when I pulled my credit 3 months later, the tuition was listing as "discharged in bankruptcy." I even verified that status with the school. I cannot say this will happen with everyone, since my debt was outstanding tuition that was never paid and NOT a student loan, but without Amy's help, I don't know what I would have done.
