Not happy with my former divorce attorney, Kelly Wick. My ex's attorney was a low life snake and instead of fighting for me, she seemed to role over for this guy most of the time. At one point, my ex and her attorney insisted that I was behind on child support. Because I know how to do basic math, I knew I had actually overpaid. Kelly Wick asked me to pay the extra month of child support. I was on medical disability so I couldn't afford to pay the extra even if I wanted to. I of course refused to pay and when I asked Kelly why she even suggested to me that I pay, her response was, "sometimes I feel it's better just to pay people to keep them happy instead fighting them". She basically wanted me to give in to extortion with money I didn't have. Whenever we would be negotiating over something, she would try to discourage me from submitting my offer because in her words, "the court will mandate at least this so you can't offer less than that". If I have to give at least what the court is going to offer, then what is the point of negotiating? To run up my legal fees??? After it was all said and done, I payed Kelly Wick over $14,000 dollars for me to end up getting screwed over and constantly feel like my own attorney was working for the other side. I'm sure if you only need someone to handle a dissolution or a "friendly" divorce, Kelly would do just fine for you. But if you need someone to fight for you, keep searching because she's not the attorney for you.

I loved Kelly from the start!! She was very empathetic to my chaotic situation which included an civil case AND a child custody and support case. I originally filed the papers pro-bono trying to take it into my own hands. However I decided it was best to get legal help. Once i retained Kelly she immediately took charge and relieved a lot of the burden I felt. I'm all the outcome of it is she led me and my son to victory on both cases and got us a favorable outcome with regards to a shared parenting agreement and support for my son. In all I would highly recommend Kelly because of her sincere empathy towards others and herhard work and dedication towards getting what's best for her clients. Kelly doesn't just view this as a job but she puts herself in her client's shoes and acts based on that. She also is good about giving updates and getting back to you if you miss her by phone.
