As far as I'm concerned miss Susan gets 100% just for her personality and the way she cares about her clients we have not been to court yet but I'm sure she'll give them hell. It's those quiet ones you got a watch out for ! It's always nice if you're a female to have a woman Atty. I feel like a Woman attorney understands so much better how you are feeling with what you are going through much much more than a male ATTY. could ever pretend too. She understands how I feel with all the things I'm going through with this divorce. I can't wait to see her in action in the Court room in front of a Judge with me sitting next to her. Nice to an extent but as a lawyer she is unprepared and shows no real interest or care in the case. I strongly believe she is the reason I lost custody of my children. She made a statement to the judge that was not even accurate and on more occasions then I can count the judge told her" Mrs. Donner, you can't say that in court." I had her for five horrible long years and I could go on for another couple of pages on things the tried to charge me for that I did not ask for and how she constantly tried to get continuations in court. I don't know if it was to make more money off of me or because she was just completely unprepared. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS LAWYER. SHE WILL DO HER BEST TO TAKE IT ALL WITHOUT DOING ANY OF THE WORK.

This woman is a joke in the courtroom. She was totally unprepared and caused me to have to switch attorneys mid-divorce. She then refused to send my file to my new attorney even after multiple requests. She padded the bills because there's no way she put that much "preparation" in based on what I saw; she wasn't even up to date on my case. When I switched attorneys my new attorney told me that he does not typically accept clients who are midway through a divorce but because she was my attorney he knew I wouldn't stand a chance and he accepted my case. Everyone in the judicial system looks at this women as a laughingstock, she shouldn't be allowed to practice law.

very unorganized, never answers calls or emails back in months.. in court she didn’t look through the stack of evidence i had. didn’t look through anything at all, i didn’t get granted shared custody of my son…. she still 2 months later never even wrote a decree for finilization of divorce.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND if you ever want your children again… she will write invoices instead of doing her job… i hired a way better lawyer

Mrs. Donner is a woman of true grit! I would recommend her to anyone! She is unlike other lawyers with a professional style and customer service that other lawyers dont have considering how cold hearted they can be. Susan Donner has passion in her job and wont play games with you like crooked lawyers would. Ive talked to every lawyer in Suffolk and she was the most qualified for child custody and child support cases! If you live in Suffolk, VA or even close to it, talk to Mrs. Donner!
