I had a terrible experience with Andy cook . I came to them as a father simply trying to fight for custody of my son, hoping for support and guidance. Instead, I was met with unresponsive service and questionable billing practices. Despite being granted a 25% discount, I was still billed a staggering $17,000 for a case that my new attorney later confirmed should have cost around $3,000. It felt like the case was dragged out unnecessarily, adding to the emotional and financial toll. After months of frustration, I finally had to hire another attorney. I wouldn’t recommend this firm to anyone looking for fair, compassionate, or efficient representation.

This man is the Cybertruck of attorneys in my experience. Quoted less than $10,000 and billed around $50,000. Then agreed on a payment plan to pay the extreme fees and at signing of agreement inserted a huge interest and lien against my home. Over half of the $500 I still pay him a month goes to the interest he slipped in at signing. He lost at every turn in the case. He was writing his closing at lunch during the hearing. I met him through the Tom Homann LGBT Law association. As soon as he pulled that stunt with the interest accruing lien against my home (after I already paid over $15k in cash for a case quoted under $10k) I realized that his interest seemed to be in dragging out the litigation to upbill and that he would take my house before ever actually helping. He made the case worse in my opinion and I would provide emails and billing statements to back up my statements. He did not depose or subpoena any third parties, did not even attempt to cross examine the other party in my custody case, and his fees did not include any experts. I do not recommend him. Julie Wolff, Tracy DeSoto, and Ben Aguilar were much more reasonable family law attorneys in my opinion.

Terrible Attorney..He ran my credit card over $10,000 n barely did anything...pretty much robbed me...he did not protect part of my pension n my ex is entitled to...he took advantage of naiveness...he attempted to drag my divorce hearing out by arguing with the other attorney...his billing was questionable..do ourself a favor and find someone else
