I had the pleasure of working with Alford Legal Group, and I couldn't be more satisfied with his services. From the very beginning, Alford took the time to thoroughly review my case, demonstrating an impressive level of dedication and expertise. He was incredibly communicative, always keeping me informed and ensuring that I understood each step of the process until to the end of my case. I definitely recommend him.

We only did a consult with him but he very much had our best interests in mind. We were working with a difficult/confusing housing/co-tenant/landlord situation and he was really straightforward about answers, how he could help, what our options were, and their costs. It was clear he only wanted to do something we were comfortable with, and what the best path forward for everyone would be.

Rude! I have been calling attorneys to try and assist me with my housing case for months. I spoke to this attorney. This attorney wanted me to put $5,600 down as a retainer. He told me his rate is 300 an hour. He said he has an initial 15/hour minimum. Well let’s do simple math: 300/hr for 15/hrs is $4,500 not $5,600. So let’s start there! If he wanted 5,600 then he should have quoted me for 18/hrs. Talk about wolfs in sheep’s clothing! As the former chair of fair housing I am appalled at this attorneys actions not because he would not work with me but because he attempted to take advantage of someone in need. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I am sorry that you felt the need to post this. Ordinarily, I would not be inclined to respond to this type of post, however in this instance I could not ignore these misrepresentations". First: There was no misrepresentation of the facts. You quoted me $300/hr. not $375/hr. The case had not "gone to trial" as I attempted to explain to you. The case was in "Tier 1" of the housing court procedures and the initial decision to allow the eviction was a result of running late. After filing a motion to remove default and the case was remanded back to tier 1 where a judge ruled against me again, allowing the eviction to go forward. The judges ruling was biased and required help from the appellant court to stop the eviction where the appellant court judge "Grant" found the judges ruling to be biased and advised the defendant (Me) would have success if I went through appeals. Second: As the former chair of fair housing I do have a lot of contacts and as a result of all of these eviction cases many of my contacts caseloads were full. Hence why I started going outside of my network to seek help. You can look me up! Let me be very clear I am more then capable of handling these types of cases myself. My outreach had nothing to do with my level of expertise in this field and everything to do with being exhausted. Like I said you were rude and you attempted to overcharge me and if you have a problem with what I said change your behavior for a better outcome.

Stuart was so professional and knowledgeable in handling my family's immigration matters. He was spot on with his advice and gave us a price for his work and it never changed. He is an honest and sincere attorney who cares and comforts. Without his expertise and advice the outcome could have been devastating. We've known Stuart for 15 years. Get Stuart on your side. You'll be glad you did.

Stuart Alford knows his stuff. Great lawyer. I am honored and privileged to have him on my side. He was able to help me obtain a large settlement for a motorcycle accident I was involved in. He explained things every step of the way and in the end was able to help get a settlement that I was very happy with. I would not want to be on the other side of this tenacious and knowledgeable man. He also is compassionate and principled.

Helped me out in a crunch, very grateful! Simple solution solved a huge headache. Did cost money though, but was a flat fee.
