

Vermont Law and Graduate School is a private, independent institution that houses the nation's most comprehensive and extensive environmental law and policy program. It also has a unique restorative justice program. VLGS offers a Juris Doctor curriculum that emphasizes public service. There are four Master's degrees: Master of Environmental Law and Policy; Master of Energy Regulation and Law; Master of Food and Agriculture Law and Policy; and four post-JD degree programs --LLM (for foreign-trained attorneys), LLM, Energy Law, and LLM, Food and Agriculture Law. A part-time hybrid online JD will be available starting in Fall 2023. This program is one of 14 approved by the ABA. It is home to innovative experiential programs and the Environmental Law Center, South Royalton Legal Clinics, Environmental Advocacy Clinics, Energy Clinics, Food and Agriculture Clinics, and the Center for Justice Reform.
