About Sioux City, Iowa

Sioux City, Iowa's westernmost city located in Woodbury County at the confluence of Big Sioux and Missouri Rivers serves as an essential transportation hub in its region, known for its vibrant arts scene as well as rich history and breathtaking natural beauty.

Sioux City once became famous as the "Hog Capital of the World." Today, however, Sioux City hosts various industries including healthcare, manufacturing and finance - in addition to several colleges such as Morningside College and Briar Cliff University.
