Beverly Hills is divided east-west by three major boulevards. The foothills north of Sunset Boulevard contain the Beverly Hills Hotel and luxury mansions along with winding drives. South of Sunset Boulevard are flatlands which include other expensive homes. Between Santa Monica Boulevard (and Wilshire Boulevard), there are many chic shops, boutiques, and department stores. These are located on Old Rodeo Drive and Two Rodeo Drive. They both feature multilevel shopping streets in mock Mediterranean design. Although tourism is the city's mainstay, there are also some manufacturing operations south of Wilshire Boulevard. Beverly Hills cover 5.7 miles and have many parks. It is also rich in shrubbery and trees. To the southwest, the city borders the studios at Twentieth Century Fox. However, their lots have been largely converted into Century City, an office-building center and shopping mall. A branch of the Museum of Television and Radio is located in the city.
