Missouri has fines set based on how fast you are going over the speed limit. The higher the number, the higher the fine. Once you’re 25mph over the speeding liming or more, you need to make a court appearance. This no longer is a minor traffic violation, and in addition to a fine, you may have to go to traffic school, get points on your license or suspension, and you could even get charged with a misdeamonr depending on how fast you were going. Speak with a traffic court attorney before your court date and be sure not to miss it.
